Research

What the research shows.

Russian clinical research shows reduced anxiety-related symptoms in adults with generalised anxiety. No sedation, no measurable dependence.

Selank is a synthetic tuftsin analog developed at the Russian Academy of Sciences in the 1990s. The molecule is a stabilised version of the natural immunopeptide tuftsin, with structural modifications that extend plasma half-life past peptidase cleavage.

The compound is anxiolytic without the sedation of benzodiazepines. Russian clinical research base is meaningful; Western replication is more limited. Most-studied delivery route is intranasal.

Contraindications

When not to use.

Active mania or psychosis. Pregnancy. Pediatric use without clinical oversight.
